What's it cost?

Here's a very brief overview of how we organize our approach, and how we charge for our work. We will always provide you with a guaranteed estimate of what it will cost to design, develop, build and launch your site, and we will never charge you for anything you didn't agree to pay for in advance.

1. Design

Every project carries a design fee. That's what we charge to cover our time to strategise your work and make it look like a million bucks. At the end of this process, you will have a flat, non-interactive file that will show you pretty much exactly how your site will look when it goes live on the web. Usually, site design fees range from $2500. to $6500., not including bells and whistles like Flash.

2. Development and programming

This is the step in which we convert your flat design files to HTML, and plug everything into the content management system. Development usually takes a couple of days, but can take considerably longer if you have custom software development needs and/or unique database transfer requirements. Converting a site to HTML and Generator usually costs around $2000, give or take.

3. Site buildout

Once the site is up on our testing servers, it's time to build out the site map with pages, and fill those pages with text, images, video and music. Site buildout is completely dependent upon how large your site is at launch, and how much original content needs to be created to design pages. In general, it's customary to expect to pay about $100 a page for buildout.

4. Going live

Eventually, we will want to introduce your new work of art to the world. Once the site goes live, we spend the next month or so checking to make sure every link works, and you are fully trained to run GeneratorTools. We offer free training to you and your staff, but also can offer extensive full day training for $250.

5. GeneratorTools cms

Generator's cms is a proprietary system that plugs an awesome array of back end tools into every aspect of your site. GeneratorTools costs between $100 and $300 per month, depending on your needs.
